Terreur
Terreur is a short game about walking around a city and talking to its inhabitants before going to work. Aesthetically it borrows from the Playstation 2 era of video games with relatively low resolution but filtered textures and low poly models, without being strictly tied to what is possible on the console. Another important aesthetic influence is player made maps for the Counter-Strike game series. The gloomy world is inhabited by at first glance identical employees of a single corporation. Inspired by short exploration games like Sludge Life and A Short Hike, the aim of the game is to create a world whose inhabitants have spent too much time on the internet and believe they have something interesting to say, and to immerse the player in this world. The player interacts with the world through talking to NPCs and picking up a key item.
